Reese is 3 months old!

I have had the pleasure of photographing Kati when she was pregnant, Reese when she was born and now the Holiday portrait session of the whole family. Reese is now 3 months old and she did so great during the photo session. I was so happy to get her beautiful smile on camera, at this age the smile shows a glimpse of personality. This family is wonderful and I love that I have been given the opportunity to get to know them. May I also add that I love Kati's sense of style, I love how the whole family is dressed for this session. No Christmas tree sweaters, no red and green but still the look is festive. This is such a great example of "dressing" outside the box.

Gina & Javier plus one is THREE!

Gina and Javier are waiting for their first bundle of joy!  And, at the same time, celebrating their ONE year anniversary!  We had the honor of shooting their wedding last December, and when we got the call from Gina that she and Javier needed a maternity session, we were so happy for them!  It's so nice to see a couple from their wedding, to a maternity session, and then the newborn shoot as well!  Can't wait for those!!!

Not your typical holiday session

When speaking with Tania about the photo session location, she loved the idea of the beach. Not the typical location for a holiday session; but when picking her brain a bit, she mentioned that her main reason for the session was to give out photos as gifts. Of course, photo in a frame is a no brainer. What grandma would not absolutely LOVE this gift? And did I mention the photos are going to be a complete surprise? Beach photos are so timeless and the girls look so sweet in their flowy dresses. I had such a great time with the girls, the session was full of giggles and smiles!  That is one of the reasons I love to shoot children.  They don't have any reservations and smile and laugh!  

Tania, your girls are absolutely gorgeous and it shows through the pictures.  I hope your family and friends treasure their gifts; it is a moment in time when your little girls were just that, little girls.  Years from now, you will look back at these images, and smile.

Dalia and Oren's E-Session

I was so happy to have the opportunity to get to know this couple during our e-session last week. I love this couple's personality and how they interact with each other. I had no problem getting Oren to whisper sweet nothings in Dalia's ear!  We quickly felt at ease with each other. That is why engagement sessions are so important, it gives me the opportunity to start a friendship with my bride and groom. I look forward to their wedding in January, I know it will be lots of fun.

Almost 3 weeks...

Alyssa is now almost 3 weeks old, and she is actually awake more! She is still an angel... These pictures were taken in her nursery on a blanket that Patty and Aiden gave her as a gift. It's the perfect backdrop! Doesn't she look gorgeous???

It's FALL!

This summer seemed so hot and I am so thankful that the fall is here. Taking advantage of the cool weather we recently had, we took a family hike in Indian Hammocks Park. Aiden loved touching pine cones and it was nice to be outdoors with the family. Here are some pics I took.

New "Sign In Album"

We received our new "Sign In" album about a month ago and we have gotten such a great response. So I decided to snap a few pictures and show it off to those who have not seen it. As you all know, PS is well known for our kick ass engagement sessions. So we wanted to provide our clients with more products that would incorporate photos from their e-sessions. The Sign In Album has a custom wrapped hard photo cover with fine art giclee printing on archival matte paper. The matte paper allows you to sign with any writing instrument. The album comes with 12 pages, each having a single photo. You also have the option of adding pages depending on how many guests you expect to have at your wedding. Both Susie and I put a lot of work in our wedding albums. We do not outsource the design nor do we use album templates. Of course this means a lot more work for us but at the end, each of our albums are completely unique and tailored to fit your style and wedding. My little Angel!

Honestly, she is my little angel.  Alyssa is a week old, and sleeps all day.  She doesn't fuss or cry for no reason.  She is perfect!  Just look at her!!!  Isn't she?  After having two boys, it's so different having a girl.  I finally have a shopping buddy!  But seriously, I am in-love all over again.  She is precious, from her perfect little lips to her almond shaped eyes.  I can't wait to post more pics of her soon.  Maybe she'll be awake?  Nah, probably not!

Aiden and Abuelo

I snapped this picture of Aiden and my Dad. I just LOVE it! Usually you see connections with baby and parent but rarely do you see a photo with baby and grandpa. I did not plan on this photo and I think that is why its so special. The feeling I get from this photo is similar to how I feel when I photograph a bride and her father-love, honesty, happiness. This is just another moment that I will always be able to cherish when I see this photo.

Aiden is 8 months old!

Aiden is 8 months old! He finally has a tooth and the second on its way. He is gotten more into his toys lately. He loves Elmo, no surprise. What is it with Elmo that kids love? He also likes playing with anything that spins. He has yet to start crawling. He is experiencing new foods and makes the funniest face when you put ice in his mouth, which reminds me I need to catch the face on camera...stay tuned.
