HELP Wanted:

So I have an exciting session coming up and I need an extra set of hands. The photo session is a Trash the Dress Session in Miami Beach. If you are an amateur or pro photographer and would like to tag along with me...shoot me an email. You can expect to learn about my natural/editorial posing techniques, finding unique backdrops in not so obvious settings, off camera lighting and you can of course expect to have tons of fun. My only requirements are for you to come to set with tons of energy!

Children Photography: Photo Card

Here is Sophia's birthday invitation that I designed. It was obvious what photo I was going to use for the invitation, I mean her undies say "Birthday Girl" so perfect! If you haven't seen the pictures from this session you have to scroll down and take a look, they are too cute for words.

Wedding Album- Acrylic Cover

WOW! Was my first thought when I opened up this well awaited package. When we ordered this new acrylic cover I new it was going to be incredible but I didn't think it was going to be this incredible. Seriously I am still drooling over it. I love offering new, unique, products and that is why I love our album company, Album Crafters. They are always producing new and exciting products, wait until you see the new etched metal cover that is in the works...CAN'T WAIT!

Miami Maternity Photography: Yvonne and Madison

I am always so thrilled to hear from a previous client. We photographed Madison in 2007 and now Yvonne called us to photograph her bump and of course some more updated pictures of Madison. We decided to do the session in the beach at Bill Baggs State Park. It was so nice to see Madison again and get to photograph her fun personality. I can't wait to meet her new brother or sister.
Thank you Yvonne for once again trusting in us to photograph such important milestones in your life.

Miami Wedding Photography: Nancy & Rigo's Wedding Slideshow

Miami Wedding Photography: Nancy & Rigo's Wedding

Nancy and Rigo had a gorgeous wedding at the Bath Club in Miami Beach.  It was picture perfect.  The sun was casting such beautiful light on the ceremony site.  It was amazing! Nancy and Rigo are so in-love!  It is so evident in their pictures:  their glances, their kisses... It is so cute to watch them...  Honestly, one of my favorite weddings!!!
Thanks to Elsa at Elegant Boda for coordinating such a beautiful affair.  And the magnificent flowers were by Marcia at Flowers International. (Did you see Nancy's bouquet? Incredible.)

Miami Children Photography: Reese is 6 months old

Seriously how cute are these pictures! While editing them I could not help but have a smile on. I love Reese's contagious smile and those cheeks...YUM! I have photographed Reese when she was born and than again at 3 months and now she is 6 months old. This is such a great age to photograph, not mobile just yet and full of personality and cuteness. Reese is such a happy baby and photogenic just like her mommy. I can't wait to do Reese's 9 month photo shoot at the beach!

Miami Newborn Photography: Baby Announcement

As you all know that designing baby announcements is an additional service that PS provides. I love offering this product and even more I love designing them. This client allowed me to have total creative control over the design, so I had lots of fun with it. I love the vintage but modern look of the card. My inspiration was the front picture of Carolina. I have more cards in the works, wait until you see Sophia's first birthday invitation. Stay tuned...

Vero Beach Children Photoraphy: My chunky monkey!

My nephew, Jordan, is 9 months old already.  It boggles my mind that he is almost a year old!  Isn't that insane?  I just can't believe it!  He is sitting up on his own and just loves to play!  He is always wearing a smile, and I tend to squeeze his cheeks multiple times a day!  He's just so cuddly!!!  I love you, my chunky monkey!!!  Here are a few shot of him hanging out at my house.

Vero Beach Children Photography: Great Find!

What a great boutique, Florida Kids.  We met Sue Beddow, the owner of this fabulous store yesterday, and I was so blown away by her and her store!  This boutique has clothing for children and infants that are so unique and not "cookie cutter" looking.  I just LOVED this store so much, I have to tell my clients that they must stop there to find great clothing for photographing their children in.  Florida Kids is located at 4895 North A1A in Vero Beach.  And, if you purchase one of Sue's findings for your session, you will receive an additional 11x14 enlargement when you book a session!  Make sure to tell Sue that we sent you!!!

Miami Children Photography : Sebastian is 6 months old

Sebastian's parents could not miss out on the opportunity of photographing him at 6 months, even though it was in the hospital.  We made the best out of the natural light coming in from the window, and the Burberry outfit that his Tia gave him added the perfect touch!
He was in such a great mood, considering the circumstances.  We look forward to his speedy recovery and can't wait to do his next session outdoors along with his big brother, Nicholas!

Vero Beach Bridal Show

PS Photography will be at the Vero Beach Bridal Show at the Heritage Center this Sunday, March 15th from 1pm-5pm.  Come by and say hi!  Hope to see you guys there!

Miami Wedding Photography: Sneak Peek-Nancy & Rigo's Wedding

Just wanted to give a sneak peek from Nancy & Rigo's Wedding this past Saturday!  More to come soon, so check back!!!

Sophia Turns ONE

Sophia turns ONE!

When you think of having professional photographs taken of your one year old you probably expect pics at the beach or a park probably eating a cupcake.  Well, not with this family. Michelle wanted something unique and grungy, and to somehow incorporate graffiti.  She then went on to tell me she wanted her daughter to wear a tutu and converse sneakers.  Could it get any better? We were sooooo excited for this session and automatically started to scout for locations. We found an area that had train tracks, discarded wood and graffiti near Tamiami Airport. It was perfect. I love that these photos are so unexpected. The contrast of the grungy location and a little delicate girl in a tutu gives the photos a sense of surrealism that I love. Don't forget to leave us a comment! I am curious to know what everyone else thinks about the pics.

E-Session Collage for Weddings

Our 20x20 collage enlargement is another great product to show off your awesome e-session pictures. There has been so much buzz about Cynthia and Jovanni's engagement session at Fischer Island. It is a definite favorite amongst our clients and its no surprise, the photos were so unique and simply beautiful. When it came down to deciding how to display these photos at their wedding, Cynthia and Jovanni decided on our sign-in-book (see prev. post for details) and an enlargement. But how do you choose just one photo to display on an easel for all of your guests to admire?  The solution: a unique collage.  And, it's then a work of art to hang on your wall!!!

Amy & Chris's Esession

Amy & Chris were so much fun to shoot!  Chris kept cracking jokes and acting silly making it hard for Amy to not smile (which is just fine!).
We did multiple locations in Vero Beach.  We started at McKee Botanical Gardens with it's lush greenery.  Then we moved on to Downtown Vero, with the old theatre and some railroad tracks as a backdrop.  And then, my new favorite spot.  This overgrown, abandoned orange grove in the middle of nowhere.  These pictures are my absolute favorites.  I love the feel of gloom and grunge.  It makes for some awesome shots.   Right?  I am going to use this spot until they clean it up, and then, off to another!  I have been stalking the area, so I have other back ups, just in case!
I gotta give props to my dad, who I dragged with me to be my assistant!  He did an awesome job, and he even got in some great shots as well!  (Yes, he is a fellow photographer!  It runs in the family.)  Thanks, Dad for being my "gopher" for the day!
