Miami Maternity Photography

What a great shoot!  Leksy wanted a different looking maternity/family session, and she got it! It is so much fun to have a family that is up for anything!  Leksy loved our session with Sophia back in March.  It was so unique, and that is what appealed to Leksy.  So we did her session by the train tracks (our new fave spot, by the way).  It was so awesome because they were up for anything!  Daniel and Anthony were such cute models!  They did everything perfect!  We could have spent all day with them!  And, not to mention Leksy!  She is due in 3 days, and she sat down on the tracks and trecked through the tall grass!  But, as you can see, it was well worth it!  Can't wait for the baby's session!!!

Miami Portrait Photograhy : DLP Personal Training

So normally you can expect to see photographs of kiddies, couples, boudoir sessions, but never before this. David is a personal trainer who was in need of some updated photos. Since this was a first I was naturally apprehensive about the shoot. We started off at the gym; and of course could not finish the session with out some artistic shots. David was such a great sport, I even convinced him to jump in the pool. I hope these photos convey how passionate David is about fitness. I can't help but want to join in on one of his boot camps.

Wooo Hooo I made it into a Fandango Teaser!

We once again had the pleasure of working with Ram of Fandango Productions at a recent Vero Beach Wedding. It so helps to have a creative team woking at your wedding. I was so excited to see the trailer that Ram had put together. He always does such an incredible job with his videos, but I was definitely surprised to see me in the video. Me a photographer in a wedding trailer, how cool is that. Check it out...so exciting!

Miami Newborn Photography: Baby Mason

When Marina contacted me to photograph her son's newborn photographs she had one request, "I want natural and real pictures". I of course was the right photographer for the job. This family was so relaxed in front of the camera which made it easy for me to capture these tender family moments. Baby Mason was so sweet and so photogenic. I can't wait to start designing his birth announcements.

Recent Pictures of Aiden

I have not posted any pictures of Aiden since the holidays and I know I am well over do. I have so many more photos to share but have not had the time to edit them. These pictures were taken last month and was prompted by my mother who begged me to photograph Aiden in jumpers. Whats up with grandma's and overalls? I honestly can't stand them but of course seeing them on my son I think he looks soooooo cute!

Miami Children Photography : Miranda's Baptism Pictures

Miranda is so precious, she has the cutest cheeks and perfect little lips. She is absolutely adorable. It was such an ease to photograph her, every little smile and face she would make was so cute. I do have to admit that I had some help with her squeaky mouse toy that mommy brought to the set. That toy was magic, as soon as Miranda saw it she smiled then mommy would squeeze it and even a bigger smile would come out. Mental note: buy squeaky mouse!

Miami Wedding Photography : A true moment

I was in the middle of editing Carolina and Javier's wedding album when I came across this photo. I, of course, had seen this photo before (it made it in the album), but now while I am editing it I just realized what a true moment this photo really is. Doesn't she look stunning? This photograph was captured right after Carolina put on her wedding dress and veil. You can imagine what she is feeling at that exact moment this photo was shot. Such a true moment. The expression "a great photograph tells a thousand words" rings true.

Vero Beach Wedding Photography: Tara & David

David and Tara's Wedding at Costa D'Este Beach Resort in Vero Beach, FL was amazing!  When I got the call from Alba at Costa D'Este, I was so excited!  Shooting a wedding at such a gorgeous hotel is always a dream.  Then when she tells me that it was in 2 weeks, I laughed!  How could anyone pull off a wedding in 2 weeks?  Well, the pictures speak for themselves. Tara looked so pretty as she walked down the aisle in a bamboo lined terrace.  It is so cute to see how much Tara and David love each other!  Andres from Mystique Flowers was able to transform that terrace into a fantasy full of deep red roses and unique candle lighting!  Not to mention the reception!  The decor was so gorgeous!  The tables were dripping with elegance with a modern twist!  Truly breathtaking!  And, the party didn't stop all night!  Tara and David's parents did not get off that dance floor.  What a fun wedding this was to shoot!  I can't wait to start designing this album!  And, Ram from Fandango put up a video tease on his blog!!!

Miami Trash the Dress Session : Zuly

OK, so I am hoping I can entice a few of our clients to do a Trash the Dress Session after seeing these amazing photos. I just can't get enough of these sessions. I get in a creative high when I photograph a Trash the Dress Session. To get a bride in her dress willing to do whatever you want, HELLO...heaven! Zuly was such a dream to work with. She followed direction so well and has such a natural sex appeal about her. She was able to work a sexy pose then switch to that girl next door look in a second. Best of all she had complete trust in my vision. She jumped over a fence with no questions asked, she was up for anything which got me even more inspired. I honestly could have spent the entire day photographing Zuly in her wedding dress. Zuly is a wedding coordinator so it is no surprise why she couldn't keep her wedding dress in the closet, but why aren't more brides taking the Trash the Dress plunge?

P.S. I want to especially thank fellow photog Sofia for assisting me in this session. I also want to thank Zuly's partner in crime Valeria for being such a great support and help!

Miami Newborn Photography: Baby Alexander

First thing I noticed is that Alexander is a lucky baby. He has two loving parents and two big sisters that spoil him like crazy! Not only does he have his own pair of Jordan's already but more importantly he is spoiled with attention. I was able to photograph Alexander awake, sleeping and with his family, one of the reasons why I always do newborn photography in the convenience of a clients home. Now to design the announcement, stay tuned.
