Erin & Adrian's Wedding

What a beautiful wedding!!!  From the moment we stepped into Erin's home, she glowed with excitement and anticipation!  She looked absolutely gorgeous.  Her hair was pulled back in a sweet bun with side-swept bangs.  And her dress fit her perfectly.  Tell me how fabulous she looked!!!
Anyways, the church was so beautiful.  And, the emotion on their faces as they first saw each other was so loving, it brought tears to my eyes!  (Then again, I usually cry at every wedding.)
The reception was at the Bonaventure Hyatt in Weston.  What a fabulous backdrop.  Patty and I were able to get drop-dead gorgeous relaxed portraits of Erin and Adrian.  And, not to mention the party.  Everyone danced all night long.  Seriously. The dance floor was always packed with guests bouncing with the beat of the music.  All in all, this wedding was perfect!!!
Erin and Adrian, thank you so much for giving us the honor of being a part of your wedding day.  We wish you both many years of happiness (and plenty of babies to keep you busy!).

CityMommy Photo Party was a HIT!

As you know we sponsored a photo party for CityMommy members Wednesday. We had such a great time with all the kids. Luckily the weather was perfect. I wanted to say thank you to Carolina from CityMommy for being such a great host and helping Susie and I with the kids. I also wanted to say thank you to CityMommy member Karen for letting us post these beautiful pictures of her son on our blog. The rest of the proofs from the event will be posted on our on-line proofing site in 2 weeks.

Nery and Brian's Wedding

As I predicted Nery and Brian's wedding was so much fun. The ceremony took place at St. Thomas and the reception was at Don Shula's Hotel and Golf Club in Miami Lakes. The catering at Don Shula's was of course phenomenal. DJ Connection had every guest off of their chair and dancing. Seriously every guest was on the dance floor. We had no problem getting this couple to smile and laugh in front of the camera they have such fun personalities. Both Susie and I had a great time at this wedding.

Congratulations Nery and Brian!

Noel's Quince Portrait

I had so much fun photographing Noel. I love taking photos of teenagers. I always go into the photo session with the challenge of capturing their true personality. As soon as I start snapping away I feel a difference, I am relaxed and totally inspired. My creativity is different eac time. It is completely different from a child's portrait and not formal like a bridal portrait. I can't explain it, it's just different. My job is so NOT boring, each client I do is different and it's such a great challenge to capture their best qualities. In Noel's case I would have to say her best quality is her elegance. The way she stood before I even positioned her was elegant. That became my focus, making sure I captured that elegance.

Breakfast with Fandango Productions

This weekend Susie and I had the pleasure of having breakfast with Ram who is the creative director of Fandango Productions. We met Ram at Alicia and Tyler's wedding back in April. We worked so well together that we made it a mission to meet up again after the wedding. One of the first things I noticed when I met Ram was his excitement for the art of film making. I think that is so important. Not only does he love what he does but he is really good at it. By the way he is not a videographer he is an award-winning film maker, no lie check out his website.

CAKE FACE!

Here are some photos of Aryanna's Birthday Party. Isn't my god daughter the cutest! By far my favorite part of the whole party was Aryanna stuffing her face with cake. I made sure to capture every reaction she had to each bite.

Happy 1st Birthday Aryanna!

Aiden is 4 months old!

I am so enjoying Aiden, he now smiles and giggles. He loves when I make funny noises. His favorite thing to do lately is grab his toes, he looks so cute. He will soon be able to put his toes in his mouth...I can't wait!

Jordan's Here!!!

I am officially a TIA!!!
But let me tell you, it wasn't easy.  My poor sister had contractions for 48 hours...  And, at the end, had to have a C-section.  But, she did great.  And, Michael is so excited to have his son!!!  It's so amazing, the birth of a child.  The emotions that run through you are so intense and raw...  When I saw my little nephew for the first time, I didn't know what to do with myself!  I wanted to scream, cry, jump and run in circles!  (But, of course I had my camera in hand.)
Jordan Emilio Tomas was born June 2nd, 2008 at 4:22pm weighing in at 7 lbs 9 oz and was 20 inches long.  He's gordito and absolutely gorgeous... (Maybe I'm a bit biased!)  Jordan is healthy and has a strong set of lungs!!!  He'll be keeping Jennie and Michael up for sure!
Jennie and Michael are going to be such wonderful parents.  I see it because of the love they have for my children.  I can only imagine how much they are going to love Jordan.  They are true naturals.  Not to mention, I am going to be a fantastic Aunt!!!

Cornerstone Strategic- Corporate Shoot

I had the rare pleasure of doing a corporate shoot.  As a wedding and portrait photographer, you don't really venture into different worlds...  But, I had the honor of shooting Cornerstone Strategic.  They needed pictures to start a new marketing campaign to include brochures, website, etc...  And, let me tell you, it's hard work!  It's different from shooting a wedding, that's for sure!!!
