What a gorgeous wedding in Celebration, FL.
Miami Trash the Dress Session : Cynthia and Jovanni
We have photographed this couple in four separate occasions and I can't get enough of them. We had the privilege of shooting their wedding in January and now they got back into their wedding attire for a Trash the Dress Session. I was so excited of course to do a TTD session and when I heard we were going on a yacht to Boca Cheeca Key, I literally found myself jumping for joy! And yes, they did jump in the water! Can you believe I make a living as a photographer, going on a yacht for a photo shoot...pinch me, I'm dreaming. I LOVE my job! I also love that this couple loves photography! They have such an appreciation for art that they even hired our dear friend Ram to video the session. By the way, the trailer that Ram made is AMAZING. It's on his blog, check it out. I have said it time and time again: I LOVE TTD SESSIONS! We had such an amazing time, it allowed us to push our creativity to the edge. I want more! Our next exciting shoot is this weekend, an anniversary session at a train station! Stay Tuned...

An Epic Affair: Bridal Showcase
Being in the wedding industry there are some words that a bride speaks that will automatically get us excited. For example: destination wedding, beach wedding, Vera Wang, Ritz Carlton, and now the Epic. I am itching to photograph a wedding at this brand new incredibly gorgeous but modern ballroom. We took these photos at last week's Epic Affair. We were lucky to have been one of the vendors that were showcased at this event. The ballroom looked incredible: dressed up in delicate linens and lavish flower arrangements. There were notable vendors like J. Del Olmo Bridal, Coral Gables Bridal, Grand Affaires, Fleurish, The Event Firm, Blooming Design and Events, DJ Connection, Merge Studios, Donut Divas, Cupcake Diva and Josie Miller. I love that the Epic has chosen such an elite group of vendors to showcase to their brides and we feel so special to be one of them. I will keep you posted on the next showcase which will be on their green lawn...can't wait!

Coral Gables Engagement Session : Jennifer and Walter
It surprises me how we were able to cram so much into a two hour engagement session. We started at Coral Gables Granada Entrance, then changed outfits and went to an outdoor laundry mat, changed outfits again and headed to the beach. I love giving variety to my clients especially when it comes to engagement sessions. Jennifer and Walter got a lot of variety. The laundry mat was a location that I had been wanting to try out for forever and since Jennifer had chosen The Granada Entrance I begged them to quickly go to the near by laundry mat. I am so glad that they were both up for something unique and different. Walter, I can tell thought I was crazy when I mentioned the laundry mat but I hope after seeing the pics he can appreciate the location. Jennifer's choices for Granada Entrance and the beach were formal and classic which is great but I just could not do an engagement session without incorporating something crazy.

Amy & Chris's Wedding
It was so extremely difficult to narrow down to just a few photos to share on the blog. This wedding was a photographer's dream! Nothing short of amazing.
It took place at the Celebration Hotel in Orlando, FL. The ceremony was held on the terrace of the hotel overlooking the lake. It was full of emotion and tears. We then swept Amy and Chris off to walk around the town of Celebration where we took advantage of the beautiful architecture and got some gorgeous relaxed portraits. The town and hotel was so picturesque, so Disney and so perfect. Amy and Chris allotted enough time for us to work our magic. The reception started off with a tender first dance and followed with one of the best toasts we have witnessed. The night ended with a spectacular sparkler send off and the couple drove away in an antique car, a perfect ending to the night! (I predict I will be posting a part 2 of the wedding shortly after this post.)
Not only was the location great but the people involved were so great to work with. We had the privilege of working along side Simply Cinematic, a local cinematography team. We complimented each other so well that it reminded us how important it was to have a creative and artistic team. We are excited to see their end product and we hope to have the opportunity to work along side them again.
