Save The Date Card

We love incorporating our photographs in baby announcements, invites, and save the date cards. We also love designing them. Here is a recent design we created for one of our 2010 couples, Audra and Kellen. We can't wait for their wedding, the colors used for the announcement will be incorporated in the wedding- so vibrant and fun!

Save The Date Card

I thought I would share a recent Save the Date card we designed. I love the neutral and clean look for the card. Save the Date cards are just another great way to show off your engagement session photos.

New Wedding Product at the Glamourous Wedding Show!

Well, Patty and I began our Sunday in Port St. Lucie's newest venue, the St. Lucie Civic Center.  It is a beautiful location to hold any event!  Today, they held the first every "Glamourous Weddings Bridal Showcase".  It was incredible!  There were many vendors from the Treasure Coast.  We debuted a new and innovative product!  Drum roll please.........

This is a new venture for us!  It is an interactive screen that can be programmed to show different photo galleries.  Imagine showcasing your engagement session pictures during your cocktail hour.  As guests have a drink in one hand, the other is scrolling through your photos.  Basically, this works like an oversized iPhone!  You can have several galleries and have the option of including a slideshow!  The possibilities are endless!  We plan on taking this product a step further, and use it as an interactive seating chart.  More to come soon!!!

Children Photography: Photo Card

Here is Sophia's birthday invitation that I designed. It was obvious what photo I was going to use for the invitation, I mean her undies say "Birthday Girl" so perfect! If you haven't seen the pictures from this session you have to scroll down and take a look, they are too cute for words.

Wedding Album- Acrylic Cover

WOW! Was my first thought when I opened up this well awaited package. When we ordered this new acrylic cover I new it was going to be incredible but I didn't think it was going to be this incredible. Seriously I am still drooling over it. I love offering new, unique, products and that is why I love our album company, Album Crafters. They are always producing new and exciting products, wait until you see the new etched metal cover that is in the works...CAN'T WAIT!

Miami Newborn Photography: Baby Announcement

As you all know that designing baby announcements is an additional service that PS provides. I love offering this product and even more I love designing them. This client allowed me to have total creative control over the design, so I had lots of fun with it. I love the vintage but modern look of the card. My inspiration was the front picture of Carolina. I have more cards in the works, wait until you see Sophia's first birthday invitation. Stay tuned...

E-Session Collage for Weddings

Our 20x20 collage enlargement is another great product to show off your awesome e-session pictures. There has been so much buzz about Cynthia and Jovanni's engagement session at Fischer Island. It is a definite favorite amongst our clients and its no surprise, the photos were so unique and simply beautiful. When it came down to deciding how to display these photos at their wedding, Cynthia and Jovanni decided on our sign-in-book (see prev. post for details) and an enlargement. But how do you choose just one photo to display on an easel for all of your guests to admire?  The solution: a unique collage.  And, it's then a work of art to hang on your wall!!!

Elegant and Royal-Alyssa's baby announcement

Here it is Alyssa's baby announcement! I of course chose to design a tri-fold card rather than a standard flat card simply because I get more room to show off my beautiful angel. I also printed the card on a pearl paper (that gives the pictures a little extra sparkle). The colors were an easy pick-because those are Alyssa's nursery colors and I especially love the damask print I incorporated. I enjoy designing baby announcements so much but I must say designing one for myself was a bit hard, but overall I am so happy with the elegant and royal look of the card.

Aiden's Holiday Card!

FRONT
BACK
Thanks everyone for all your help, according to your comments the majority liked image 4. I decided to showcase everyone's favorite image on the back. I designed it so that the image takes over the whole back of the card. I thought the picture cropped as a square looks best so I made the card a 5x5. The front color scheme was inspired by a trash can I saw at a store (weird I know but inspiration comes from everywhere). I also had it printed on pearl paper to give it that extra sparkle. So here it is Aiden's first holiday card. Thanks again for everyones help!

Gift Certificates for the Holidays!!!

I can't believe my baby girl is so big!  It was only a few weeks ago that she came home so tiny and fragile.  And now she is so alert!
It is so important to capture these moments when your baby is so small.  They grow so quickly and in a blink of an eye, they are off to their first day of Kindergarten, or even scarier- high school!  What better gift is there than the gift of memories?  Call us now to purchase a gift certificate for a portrait session with PS Photography (and just in time for the holidays).  I guarantee they will treasure it forever.

Cool find

I came across these place cards on Etsy. They remind me of middle school. I thought my brides would find this interesting!

"Give your wedding guests something to talk about and remember your wedding by with these awesome "Cootie Catcher" wedding place/escort card favors!Personalized with questions about you and your fiancé, your guests will be delighted to get to know more about you two as a couple while they find their seat and mingle with others. This is perfect for that time when they are waiting on you at the reception venue as you take those all-important wedding photos! These are just like my Cootie Catcher FAVORS, only there is space on the outer corners for your guest's name and/or table number."

New "Sign In Album"

We received our new "Sign In" album about a month ago and we have gotten such a great response. So I decided to snap a few pictures and show it off to those who have not seen it. As you all know, PS is well known for our kick ass engagement sessions. So we wanted to provide our clients with more products that would incorporate photos from their e-sessions. The Sign In Album has a custom wrapped hard photo cover with fine art giclee printing on archival matte paper. The matte paper allows you to sign with any writing instrument. The album comes with 12 pages, each having a single photo. You also have the option of adding pages depending on how many guests you expect to have at your wedding. Like always, PS is constantly looking for new unique ways to showcase your photos. Please call for more info and pricing.

This year's first holiday photo!

Tis the season... YEAH! Oh how I love the holidays. I did this year's first holiday photo session with the Ruiz family. Angela dressed the kids in the perfect colors and I love that the outfits are not too stuffy. Angela is thinking of combining Breanne's baby announcements with holiday cards. I love the idea; this will be a first for me.

Now is the time to set up an appointment for your holiday session. Don't be surprised- it is never too early to get your holiday photos done. Every year, the same thing happens. December comes and I start getting phone calls for last minute sessions and I end up trying to squeeze as many clients as possible. WELL this year I am hoping will be different. No excuse. This is your warning, make an appointment soon. Remember you need time to send out holiday cards.

Cassandra's Baby Announcement

front

back

Vintage floral was my inspiration for this announcement. This particular client gave me the OK to do whatever I wanted, "whatever you think looks nice I have complete faith in you" were her exact words. Naturally I was super excited to start working on this project. I wanted to incorporate the color blue but keep a feminine look to it. I think by incorporating the color blue with pink makes it interesting and different. I used a distress overlay on the background to give it the vintage look. Voila! I am so happy with how it came out.

Save the Date Card

For some reason the "Save the Date" card craze is slowly drifting a way. Recently I haven't had any requests from brides to design a Save the Date card. Why not, I am so sad, I think they are such a great idea. It is a perfect way to entice your guests with what your wedding is all about. My favorite reason to have Save the Date cards is to incorporate your engagement session photos. That is exactly what Nicki did with her card. Thou I can not take credit for the design of the card (Nicki designed it herself, fellow photographer and interior designer extraordinaire), I love how it came out and I had to share it. Make sure to scroll down and see some other photos that Susie and I took at their engagement session.

Nicholas' Announcement

Earlier this month I photographed newborn pictures of Nicholas'. I thought I would share with you the announcement I designed. So many people are either ordering their announcements from the hospital or using an on-line announcement site. Why? The way I see it, newborn photos are priceless. Whether its your first or third child, these photos are so special. Don't get me wrong the on-line announcement companies have such cute designs, but what about the photograph. Newborn photo sessions are not only about the announcements. The photos from this session will be the beginning of your families memories. SOOOOO with that being said, ppplleeassssee don't use that hospital photo of your child screaming in a plastic box that a teenager took to be your photo for the baby announcement.

New Metal Cover

P.S. Photography is now offering a metal album cover from our album company, Album Crafters. Sounds cool, but it gets better. A picture of your choice is sandwiched in between two sheets of metal. The result is a super modern but simple look for your wedding album; or in our case we made a boudoir album with this cover for the studio. Just to give you a sneak peak I included a photo of the inside of the album. As you can see we really went all out with this studio album. The photos were printed on metallic paper and the book opens horizontally. This will be an upgrade to our packages, please call for details. Also, just to keep you guys excited for more, we are also experimenting with a photo cover album... I will give you all the details soon.
