Jammin' Party at Costa D'Este

I always jump at the opportunity to shoot an event at Costa D'Este! And, of course, Michael's 49th Birthday Bash was no exception. Bob Marley tunes blasted from the speakers as all the guests danced and drank Jamaican Rum! What a party! Happy Birthday, Michael! And, many more to come!!!

Vero Beach Children Photography: Jordan's turning ONE!

Isn't my nephew adorable?  And, I can't believe he is turning one already!  Time really flies.  When my sister asked me to take pictures with Jordan on a surfboard, I was a little weary.  How can I pull this off?  Well, I think they came out so cute!  He had a blast at the beach, and the pictures came out so cute!  I even designed his invitation! (Which I must say, came out adorable!)
Then, the family portraits were so beautiful!  I can see a canvas being hung in their home from this session, for sure!!!

Vero Beach Wedding Photography: Tara & David

David and Tara's Wedding at Costa D'Este Beach Resort in Vero Beach, FL was amazing!  When I got the call from Alba at Costa D'Este, I was so excited!  Shooting a wedding at such a gorgeous hotel is always a dream.  Then when she tells me that it was in 2 weeks, I laughed!  How could anyone pull off a wedding in 2 weeks?  Well, the pictures speak for themselves. Tara looked so pretty as she walked down the aisle in a bamboo lined terrace.  It is so cute to see how much Tara and David love each other!  Andres from Mystique Flowers was able to transform that terrace into a fantasy full of deep red roses and unique candle lighting!  Not to mention the reception!  The decor was so gorgeous!  The tables were dripping with elegance with a modern twist!  Truly breathtaking!  And, the party didn't stop all night!  Tara and David's parents did not get off that dance floor.  What a fun wedding this was to shoot!  I can't wait to start designing this album!  And, Ram from Fandango put up a video tease on his blog!!!

Amy & Chris's Esession

Amy & Chris were so much fun to shoot!  Chris kept cracking jokes and acting silly making it hard for Amy to not smile (which is just fine!).
We did multiple locations in Vero Beach.  We started at McKee Botanical Gardens with it's lush greenery.  Then we moved on to Downtown Vero, with the old theatre and some railroad tracks as a backdrop.  And then, my new favorite spot.  This overgrown, abandoned orange grove in the middle of nowhere.  These pictures are my absolute favorites.  I love the feel of gloom and grunge.  It makes for some awesome shots.   Right?  I am going to use this spot until they clean it up, and then, off to another!  I have been stalking the area, so I have other back ups, just in case!
I gotta give props to my dad, who I dragged with me to be my assistant!  He did an awesome job, and he even got in some great shots as well!  (Yes, he is a fellow photographer!  It runs in the family.)  Thanks, Dad for being my "gopher" for the day!
