True Colors Salon & Spa is merging with Vero Day Spa to provide a complete spa experience! And to celebrate, they had a "Girls' Night Out". We all had so much fun sampling some of their services, from make up to hair consults, chair massages and paraffin treatments. And they had great appetizers and cocktails! Courtney and Regan have such a great salon (and they are so cute together, aren't they? Look at some quick portraits I took!). It's so pretty and modern! I loved it! I will definitely be going back!!!
Miami Engagement Session : Mary and Julio
Mary must have been a photographer in another life time. She is so enthusiastic about photography. From the minute she met with me to every conversation since she has always left me feeling excited to shoot her engagement session and wedding and trash the dress session. The day finally came for her engagment session last month and go figure we had to reschedule because of location issues then because of rain. Needless to say it was worth the wait. We shot at a horse ranch on Okechoobee don't even ask me how I got there but it was perfect. The ranch had the perfect old weathered structure that made the photos have a sense of drama and interest. Because Mary and Julio have such a love for horses and actually own one themselves this was the perfect scenery for their engagment session. I think its so important to incorporate your love and interests in the location choice for your engagment session. Next shoot with this couple will be their wedding in August, can't wait! The color scheme is going to be Navy blue and bubble gum pink, LOVE IT!!!
P.S. I am sure you noticed the cowboy hat and boots...details...they make a photograph interesting and add a little extra POW to the photograph. So bring on the accesories at your shoot with PS!

Happy Birthday Aryanna!
My god daughter turned 2 years old today! Each and every time I see her I learn more about her character and personality. I love how she is so kind hearted. She makes sure to share her food, toys everything with Aiden. She also loves to give him kisses and hugs. She is now into the whole princess scene but she is still rough around the edges which is what I love most about her. I can throw her up in the air, tackle her to the ground and she gets up wanting more. I am so looking forward to learning more about her as she grows. I love you Aryanna, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Ms. A's Boudoir Session
What an amazing session! When Ms. A asked me to shoot her boudoir session to celebrate her birthday, I of course jumped at the opportunity! I LOVE these sexy little secret sessions. Woo hoo! So, we were able to go down to South Beach and shoot the session at the Clinton Hotel. Peter allowed us to shoot wherever we wanted, and we took advantage! (Thanks Peter!) Ms. A's makeup was amazing, but that is to be expected from Christina Liviero! It even stayed on after Ms. A got wet! Well, her pictures came out amazing, that I had a hard time editing them down! Here are a few! So, what do you think???

Miami Beach Wedding Photography : Christina and Max
One thing that stuck out at this wedding was the fusion of two cultures: Cuban and French. From the cuisine that Chef Thierry prepared to the music and then the first toast, both cultures were seen throughout the details of the wedding. The ceremony was held at St. Francis Catholic Church and the reception was at The Shane Center in Miami Beach. The Shane Center's ballroom is a blank canvas which allowed Christina to make the space her own. Christina draped the room with white and yellow accents. I especially love the paper globes that hung on top of the dance floor. The paper globes gave a splash of interest to the photographs of their first dance which turned out to be my favorite pictures of the night. I also especially had a great time at this wedding because we were able to see old friends from high school. I felt more part of the crowd than a photographer which made the experience of photographing Cristina and Max's wedding so much fun. I loved the moments that we captured during the toast and the first dance. This is a couple who you can tell are genuine and compassionate towards others. I also saw a glimpse of how wonderful a person Cristina is. The first toast were given by two of her best friends who spoke so highly of her and such sweet words were said. I can see the love that the guests had for this couple and more importantly the love that this couple had for each other.
Because of school Cristina and Max have been jumping around quite a bit and are planning on moving to France in the near future. Cristina and Max: Where ever you may end up I wish you nothing but the best as you follow your hearts.
