Say Yes to These Dresses!!!
As I watch the show "Say Yes to the Dress"on TLC (I'm a wedding show junkie), I always wish I could direct the brides to get something that's not the norm! I love to photograph brides that show their individuality and style through their wedding dress! Of course, there are those "princess" brides that need the full ballroom dress and cathedral length veils. But, the new modern bride wants something fun, edgy and editorial in feel. While, still remaining feminine and beautiful. Which is why I just absolutely love the dresses by the up and coming wedding dress designer, Stephanie Ward from Punk Rock Bride. Her designs are so unique and simple, and yet so detailed and edgy! She was recently interviewed by the Washington Post! (Read the interview in the Washington Post Article.) Here is a small excerpt from her interview. "The name (Punk Rock Bride) is really not meant to be taken that literally -- we really just wanted something that represented an alternative to what was traditionally bridal. And punk rock music was all about personal expression and rebelling against the mainstream. We're trying to do that on a different level and in a different venue, of course." Fashion, Lights! Natalie & David's Session
You know, this session is a session that literally left me speechless! I am at a loss for words. (And, for those who know me, it's really rare.) But, Natalie and David's Trash the Dress Session in New York City was so amazing! The colors and scenery of Chinatown and Times Square is breathtaking. And Natalie and David were so great! My favorite? I can't choose! Just look at them! Fabulous!

After Hours Event at Costa D'Este Beach Resort
The Indian River Chamber of Commerce knows how to party! And, Costa D'Este knows how to host one! It was so much fun networking with locals in Vero Beach. And, also, enjoying the fabulous gourmet food created for this event by the chefs of Costa D'Este. And, as always, Andres from Mystique Flowers displayed his floral designs (which, in my opinion, is art!). Live Flamenco music by Don Soledad filled the air. What a party!!!
This event helped launch Costa D'Este's Holiday Menus for this year's festivities! And what a launch. We drank Peppermint Martinis, Signature Mojitos and enjoyed "Cuban" Sushi and Shrimp Ceviche. Delish!

I heart NYC: Cristi & Wayne's E-session
When we got the call to do Cristi & Wayne's wedding in Miami, we of course were so excited. But, when they decided to do their engagement session in NYC, we were ecstatic! A photographer's dream!!! We met (for the first time, may I add) in Central Park. With the rolling hills and the lush trees we had a hard time just choosing a few spots! But, we found an old rustic bridge with ornate railings that were beautiful to photograph! We then went to the Brooklyn Bridge where we got amazingly artistic photos! The architecture was insane! It was sensory overload for us! Once the sun set, we headed to Time Square where it always is buzzing with excitement! All in all, the experience was amazing! We would love to go back and do it over and over again! (Minus the turbulent flights!)
Thank you so much, Cristi and Wayne for being such an awesome couple to shoot. Many times we said that we can't wait to shoot your wedding, and we meant it!!! Can't wait... Xoxo.

Miami Newborn Photography : Fiona
The much awaited Fiona has arrived. I am so honored to have been chosen to photograph such huge milestones in this families life. First was the wedding and then the maternity and now newborn photographs of Fiona. Fiona was in her best behavior. It took her awhile to fall asleep but it was worth the wait, they turned out to be my favorite photos of the session. There is something about sleeping babies that makes my heart melt. I also had to snag a few photos of Fiona's nursery. The room is so chic and I was very pleased to see one of PS's photos from Marisol's maternity session was included in the nursery. Marisol and Raul thank you for entrusting me to document such important milestones in your lives. Fiona is a gem and very photogenic just like her mommy and daddy. I can't wait for the 3 month photo session!
P.S. Marisol was so smart to leave one wall in the nursery completely blank to fill up with photos! Do we have our clients trained well or what!
