Emily

I have to admit, I was wrong.  I really thought that Wendy was going to have a boy.  I was wrong.  Out came Emily Bringas.  She is absolutely gorgeous!  She has such dark hair and fair skin!!!  She was born Valentine's Day at 5:38am weighing in at 6lbs 11 oz.
Take a look at some of her pictures...

Our Coffee Table Albums

For those of you who have yet to see our amazing Coffee Table Albums, here they are. We offer a line of contemporary custom photographic albums and books. The key is "custom", each album is designed with our client in mind. As a photographer I love being creative, and designing an album lets me do just that. Our albums are very modern but simple and clean. We make sure the design of the album is not over powering the pictures. Every page that we design we make sure to focus on the pictures, and how to high light our work. We offer both portrait and wedding coffee table albums that allow stunning panoramic capabilities. If you haven't seen these coffee table albums in person, you must come by the studio.

Arissa and Michael's Engagement Session

For this engagement session we went to Amelia Earhart Park. Arissa and Michael chose the park because it is where they spend many afternoons and weekends. I can see why, the park is full of beautiful scenery. As you can see in the pictures the trees and lakes made a beautiful back drop. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

I hope to have the opportunity to shoot here again. It is so much fun to shoot somewhere new. Next month we have an engagement session at a fire house, sooo excited. Stay tuned.

PS Photography's New Logo!!!

Here it is, our new logo! We are so excited about it. It really encompasses who we are and our style of photography. Marra did such an amazing job! Thanks a ton, Marra!!! You are truly talented!
So, isn't it amazing???

Do you want to see cuties?

Today I had the pleasure of photographing Joshua and Becky in Delray Beach, FL.  They are absolutely adorable and fun!  We actually did Becky's baby portrait over a year ago!  And Joshua was a little over a year old then!  How they have grown.
We started in their backyard to take advantage of the beautiful lighting.  Becky was so cooperative considering she's only one; and Joshua was so helpful and protective!  It was such a joy just to see them interact with each other!  I could have taken pictures of them all day long...  Many people like to take studio shots with different backdrops of this or that and props, but I personally like it in the home.  Kids are more comfortable and it's so much more personal.  Our style of portraits is more "lifestyle portraiture" than posed shots.  It's about relationships between our clients.  And, you can see that in this family!!!
Take a look at some of the shots from our session...

We're finding ourselves!!!

Well, we are continuing to work with Marra regarding our logo design. She came up with so many innovative and unique logos that it's so hard to choose!!! This is why there are professionals out there! We couldn't have come up with these on our own.
So, we have narrowed it down to one. Now is the fun part. We just have to tweak it a little before the big reveal! Stay tuned!!!

Aiden's 1st Photo Shoot

As you all know I am a proud mommy of a beautiful baby boy. I am so overwhelmed with joy, he is beautiful and perfect in every way. Today was Aiden's first photo shoot, after all he is officially 1 week old. I must admit it was kinda weird. After taking so many portraits of babies I found myself looking through my lens with a different outlook. As a mom my favorite picture is the one of his quirky expression. He is so new that any expression out of the ordinary caught on camera is so important to me. I of course will be posting many more pictures of Aiden. My next project is his birth announcements!

HE'S HERE!!!

Aiden is here! Patty and Javi are the proud parents of a beautiful baby boy. He weighed in at 7lbs. 10 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Patty checked into the hospital at 11:30am, and quickly progressed! Aiden was born at 8:06pm on February 9th, 2008! Happy Birthday Aiden!
Here is Aiden's first picture from daddy's phone!

Let me tell you, it was so nerve racking waiting in the hospital for Patty to push! All of the family was there. It looked like a huge family reunion. We all took up the majority of the waiting room, and once we found out that the baby was finally here, the cheering was felt throughout the hospital! It was such a wonderful, emotional experience!

Identity Crisis!!!

We are undergoing an identity crisis. When we attended the convention in Tampa, one of the photography seminars we attended asked us to describe our photography style in 3 words. Then to look at our logo; does our logo "say" our style words? We didn't think that our old logo portrays our photography style. And, Patty and I came up with our 3 words and another logo, but as you can see it's missing something. Our photography style is modern, simple and fun. But, the word simple can be negative. So, how about Fresh, Modern, Fun? What do you think???

We feel we needed a logo revamp. And, we need the help of professionals!!!

Thankfully, we have a graphic designer friend. Marra from Marra Chinn Freelance Designs is coming to the rescue. She has begun working on our logo today. Patty and I are so excited!
We should be getting some preliminary concepts in the next couple of days so keep checking back and tell us what you think!!!

Erin and Adrian's E-session

Erin and Adrian were so excited about their session! They chose a beautiful location and the day really cooperated. The sky was blue as can be!
At first they were extremely nervous. But as the session progressed, they loosened up!
Can't wait for the wedding day!

Marketing with Wedding Click/Boda Click

We have just recently joined with WeddingClick.com and BodaClickUsa.com. Wedding Click is a website dedicated in helping brides plan there wedding. The site is loaded with ideas, promotions and of course a directory of wedding vendors. Wedding Click requires you to register before accessing certain vendors information. The registration is quick and asks for basic information about your wedding. As you know planning a wedding is overwhelming and there are so many choices to make. WeddingClick.com is set up in a way that the bride can narrow their search criteria by budget and location, making it easier to search for a vendor. To take a look at P.S. Photography's advertisment just click on "photo/video" and of course look for the best looking picture! :) We are very excited to be a part of this website, not to mention optimistic (considering we got our first inquiry within 48 hours.)

Trash the Dress?

Let me ask you a question... Would you "Trash your Dress"? After seeing these images, I guess I should ask "why not"? Instead of having your dress in an air-tight box have fun with it! Our goal for this session was to show what a great concept this is. The idea of getting a bride in her dress after her wedding day sounds unusual; but the results, as you can see, is worthwhile.
Our next adventure will be at the beach. All we need is a bride willing to get wet. Any takers? How do you feel about "trashing your dress"?

Ella's one year portraits

I had the honor of photographing Ella for the second time. The first portrait session was when she was a newborn, and now she is ONE! I absolutely fell in love with her playful personality and her contagious smile. Not to mention her cheeks, don't you just want to pinch them. Here are three of my favorite pictures from the session.--Patty

Picture this:  No sleep for 5 days, 30 minute breaks in between seminars (if you're lucky) and 700 wedding photographers.  That is the DWF Convention in Tampa.  And, we were there.  We have the under eye circles to prove it!!!
What an experience!  We were blown away. It was so inspiring to learn tips, techniques, innovative lighting and more from some of the world's top wedding photographers!

Many people get star struck when they meet celebrities. But being the photog geeks that we are, we were star stuck by Joe Buissink, Jessica Claire, Michelle Turner and Yervant to name a few!  These are some of the most respected, talented photographers in the business! And they were letting us into their world!  Amazing! We are truly inspired!  Our creative juices are flowing so beware!!!
